Christmas and New Year have come and gone for another year. Loads of fun eating, drinking and generally pretending all food and alcohol have no calories. Now it’s time — Cutting Back Yet Again. I do get tired of having to watch what I eat but I also feeling more than ready after the holiday period and a bit sick of eating and drinking. You do get a bit bloated and start to feel tired from all the processed food. Even after a few days of cutting it all out, I am feeling much better and healthier.
What am I doing in 2016? I have tried everything when I comes to getting healthy and shaving off a few kilos. When it all comes down to it, calorie counting is ultimately the best and getting out there and moving more. I am not talking slamming it out in the gym, but just good old fashion walking and swimming, the two exercises that suit me. This year I want to get back into my surfing. I don’t have much time for it but if I can get down the beach once every two weeks (by myself) I will be happy with that. Nothing clears my mind more than hitting the beach. Food wise I am grabbing anything that is grown, from animals or made from animals and getting back into My Fitness Pal. If I can make these a priority I am winning.
